CERTIFIED RESIDENTIAL SPECIALIST

What is a CRS?

CRS is the highest credential awarded to residential real estate agents and brokers. The coursework offered for CRS designation focuses on increasing sales, marketing, investment properties, and much more. The CRS Designation recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience and education. CRS agents are the top 3% of Realtors nationwide. CRS members also enjoy networking opportunities from joining local CRS chapters and receive customized marketing materials to send to clients

What does a CRS do?

Upon earning the CRS designation, the Realtor abides by a strict code of conduct which includes many rules and regulations such as keeping confidential information safe, fully disclosing any issues with the property apparent to someone with that level of expertise. Realtors who receive the CRS designation have completed advanced professional training and showed outstanding professional achievement in residential real estate. CRS designees have a strong focus on technology and its applications in the real estate business. As a CRS we’re trained to help clients understand the local market, screen prospective buyers and sellers negotiate in the best interest of the client, and ultimately ensure a successful home purchase or sale

In this fast-paced marketplace, home buyers and sellers need more than just a Realtor. Home buyers and sellers need a professional with unique training and know-how to create opportunities, identify potential pitfalls up front, and make the transaction an unqualified success.
